Abstract :In this paper, we reviewed the concept of entrepreneurship of neo-classical economist Alfred Marshall and the relation of entrepreneurial capital and economic growth. The number of theoretical models, and empirical studies analyzing the role of entrepreneur in economic growth has increased in the light of old, and new definitions that were brought up to the concept of entrepreneurship. Neoclassical economist Alfred Marshall argued that entrepreneurs have an important function in dynamics and growth of economies. The statement is also emphasized to be indispensable case in that the entrepreneurial skills is essential in the global competitive scale of countries at the side of theoretical and practical studies in relation to the role of entrepreneur in economic growth. Especially, in recent years the concept of entrepreneurship capital has been started to be used as an issue of emprical studies, in investigating whether the ability to establish new firms has any effects on whole or regional scale of economic growth of countries’. In this study, the author has reviewed the literature on the validity of positive impact of entrepreneurship on economic growth, by reviewing literature that covers both emprical and theoretical researches, thus approves this validity of the implications that Alfred Marshall has made in his magnum opus that was written on the basis of his analytical analysis and investigations.Keywords :
